mailing list etiquette
I’m so tired of people who reply to a thread in order to start a new and completely unrelated discussion. How hard is it to add the address of the list to your address book? That’s kind of the point of the address book, to keep track of addresses for you. When you want to email someone directly, do you wait for them to email you first so you can reply? No, that would be stupid. That’s like waiting for someone to call you so that you can write down their number from caller ID and immediately call them back, and then throwing away the piece of paper after you hang up. Come on!
